To better help electrical distributors respond to the needs of electrical contractors, “Contractor Q+A” features remarks from real contractors from around the country. Responding this month are David Menhennitt, owner and president of North Carolina-based D C Electric of Raleigh, and Steve Williams, owner of Steve’s Electric in Independence, Kan.
What are your business expectations for the 2019 business year and how can your distributors help you realize them?
Menhennitt: My expectations are that 2019 will be an exceptional year as 2018 has been. Our company is working diligently to keep up with current work. In 2018, I went from eight employees to twelve and from three vans on the road to five. It was tremendous growth and I could probably grow even more if I could handle it. If our current workload stays steady, that would be great.
